Logan Airport (BOS), the "official" Boston airport, offers easy access to public transportation, but can be confusing to drive in and out of, especially given the Big Dig construction that is ongoing. If you find a bargain into Logan - take it, but be sure to consider the other airports in out area which could save you some money.

The Providence, Rhode Island (PVD) airport is also convenient, especially if you are renting a car and not staying in Boston proper. It offers easy access to the highway, and it's only a hour's drive to Boston. We fly from there quite frequently on Southwest.

Other nearby airports include Manchester, NH (MHT), Worcester, MA (ORH), and Bedford, MA (BED) (a.k.a. Hanscom field). We don't know too much about these, but they are all close, have car rental options, and may offer cheaper deals.

The best deals are always online - even the travel agents will admit to that, so if you check on flights into all these airports, we're sure you can get a good price.
